How to Resolve Error Code 1526?

Kindly follow the below steps:

1. Open This PC and then open “C drive”.
2. Click “View tab” and check the “hidden items” tab.
3. Open the Program Data folder.
4. Search the “key-base” folder in the Program Data.

   If the key-base folder is not shown listed in the Program data folder, follow the below steps:

   • Click View and then select Options after opening the Program Data folder.
   • Click Change folder and Search option.
   • Click View in Folder options prompt.
   • Uncheck the “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)” option.
   • Click Apply, and then you will be able to see the key-base folder.
5. Delete the key-base folder.
6. Uninstall the software and then reinstall the software.
