Activating the Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac is simple and can be completed in three easy steps. You can activate the software either online or in offline mode. Here’s how to do it.
To utilize the software’s full functionality, you need to activate it using the activation key received after purchasing the software. Launch the Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac and follow the steps for online activation.
Step 1: Click the Activation button on the top ribbon of the software window (depicted by a Key icon).
Step 2: In the Activation window, insert the Activation Key and click the Activate button.
Note: If you don’t have the activation key, click the Get it Now button at the bottom right of the Activation window. Once you complete the software purchase, you will receive the activation key in your mail.
Step 3: If the activation key is correct, it will be verified and a message saying Activation Completed Successfully will be displayed. Click Ok to proceed.
If you don’t want to activate Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac online, you can also activate it offline. It is a manual method. Launch the software and follow the steps described below.
Step 1: Click the Preferences button on the top ribbon and select Offline Activation.
Step 2: The Offline Activation window automatically generates a Registration ID. Click the Send button to create an email, addressed to support@stellarinfo.com. Add the Activation Key to the email after purchasing the software, and send it.
Step 3: A Stellar representative will verify the details and send you the License Key. Insert the license key in the offline activation window and click Activate.
You will see the message Stellar Data Recovery Activated Successfully. Click Ok to complete the activation.
You can use any of the above methods to successfully activate the Stellar Data Recovery Professional for Mac.

I got the activation code but when i try to recover my files, it's asking for a passsword, i'm assuming thats the password to my MAC but its still not recovering? what do i need to do
