Software contains Photo Recovery option that will scan selected volumes, removable storage devices, or external hard disks for photos or image files only. This option scans and recovers almost all image files from the selected volume, removable media, or hard disk. For this option, FAT, ExFAT, and NTFS file systems are supported by the application.
Follow the below mentioned steps to scan the volume or hard disk for photo recovery:
- Run Stellar Data Recovery software. On the application main screen, under the 'Multimedia Files', click on Photo Recovery option and click on ‘Next button’.
- After clicking on ‘Next’ button you will see 'Select Location' Windows, all logical volumes that exists in hard disk and all the removable media are listed with the volume details. In 'Connected Drives' section, all attached hard drives are listed. Select the 'volume' or 'hard drive' from which you want to recover photos.
- After selecting the drive, click on Scan button to start the drive scanning process for lost photo recovery.
- Software will scan the selected drive and give preview of all recoverable photo files.
